Sales Director with knowledge of Public Sector / Government markets based from London or Berkshire sought by major plc with leading solutions in the VoIP, IP, and converging communications markets.

This is a truly exceptional opportunity to join a global organisation with an impressive track record of pioneering solutions within VoIP, IP, Contact Centre, and converging communications for major Government organisations. This opportunity for a Sales Director is to lead their established sales force in the pursuit of high value £multi-million contracts, this will include developing and managing relationships with new and existing clients at a board level. You will set the strategy for sales in this area, co-ordinate with service delivery and pre-sales teams, assist with bid preperation, and be responsible for the day to day management of the sales team.

We are seeking an individual with extensive credibility within Public Sector / Government markets and a track record of over-achieving challenging £multi-million targets. You will possess first class management skills with the ability to lead from the front in the construction of often complex sales solutions based around software, telephony, networking or infrastructure solutions. Your ability to manage and develop key relationships up to and including board level and formulate effective solutions will set the standard for the rest of the team.
