Regional Sales Executive sought by industry leading unified communications, networking and security technology company to manage territories in Scotland and North of the UK developing new business opportunities with end users through the development of channel partner relationships and direct touch sales.

There now exists an opportunity for a Regional Sales Executive / Account Executive to assist in developing, managing and executing a sales plan across Scotland and the north of the UK. The role is primarily responsible for ensuring that all revenue goals are achieved by seeking out new business opportunities in targeted customers across the public and private sectors. This is a solution led sales environment with deal sizes averaging around £250k but often exceeding this. This will be done by working through channel partners in collaboration with the channel team and direct touch approaches to end users. The solutions are based upon a full portfolio of technologies including Voice, Unified Communications, Networking, Mobile, Security and associated services. This position has the full support of an extensive sales support infrastructure and will benefit from extensive career opportunities as the company continues to grow.
We are particularly interested in talking to candidates with a demonstrable track record of selling networking security or related solutions and achieving (and excelling) yearly targets through direct and/or indirect sales in to the public or private sectors. You will possess the ability to operate at all levels of a target company ranging from CEO / CIO down to end user and analyse customer requirements effectively in order to develop a suitable solution. You will be able to work independently but also function well as a team player and possess strong time management and organisational skills.
The role will be based from home, ideally within the north UK or Scotland to allow easy access to the whole territory. Base salary circa £55-65k (£110k OTE) + Benefits.
