We are seeking a Senior Account Manager - Central Government (Account Director / Business Development Manager) based from London, Thames Valley or South UK, for a major global blue-chip with leading solutions in the unified communications, voice, data and mobility markets.
This is a truly exceptional opportunity to join a global £multi-billion organisation with an impressive track record of pioneering solutions within VoIP, IP, Contact Centre, and converging communications for major Government organisations encompassing Central & Local Government, Criminal Justice, Police, Health, Education and Defence. This opportunity is for a Senior Account Manager to take exclusive responsibility for developing increased revenues from existing customers and new areas of business within the Central Government vertical. You will be responsible for managing complex sales and developing key long term strategic relationships across the sector but with a keen focus on one existing account with a significant revenue stream circa £20m.
We are seeking an individual with a track record of managing major accounts for a Systems Integrator, managed service provider, communications provider or similar technology organisation. You will possess a demonstrable history of developing complex accounts and relationships up to and including CxO level and the ability to over-achieve challenging £multi-million targets.
You will possess the ability to construct often complex solutions based around unified communications, innovative telephony, IP, mobility, security, applications and networking or infrastructure solutions. The position will receive the full backing of an extensive pre-sales department so we do not require an intricate technical knowledge. Prior experience of developing customers in the Public Sector (Central Government, Local Government, Health, Police, Defence, etc) is essential.
