We are seeking a Business Development Manager to join this established, high growth business to work alongside the Sales Director in building on their existing £multi-million revenue streams within the Public Sector.

Breakthrough Search are working with the board of a rapidly growing software development company who have created a new role to drive sales activities in their key markets within the Police, Law Enforcement, Intelligence and associated Criminal Justice markets.

This is a fantastically challenging role for an individual to work alongside a highly respected Sales Director, well respected in the industry, to develop innovative solutions in the sector with key partners such as Microsoft (Gold Partner). The company is privately owned, profitable and already has a proven track record in the Public Sector in both direct sales and with major system integration partners.

You will be primarily responsible for developing and managing solution led sales and developing key long term strategic relationships within the specified sectors. This will be done by forming strong relationships which will enable you to develop a detailed understanding of their businesses and identify problems and needs. You will then communicate this internally and assist in the development of relevant solutions and proposals.

We are seeking individuals with a track record of developing new business wins for a software development or similar technology solution organisation. You will possess a demonstrable history of developing deals and relationships, (up to and including CxO level), and a good in-depth knowledge of the Law Enforcement & Criminal Justice landscape. Deals for this business range from £5-20m so ideally we would like to speak with individuals capable of developing more complex wins as well as initial scoping deals.

This role will be based from home or from the company's main HQ in the south east. All packages will also include an additional car allowance and substantial benefits.
