This is an exceptional opportunity for a Bid Director to join this global outsourcing organisation to focus on the development of major outsourcing bids and contracts circa £100m+ in to Government markets.

Our client is a £multi-billion global Plc with an established brand and track record of delivering many of the largest, complex and ultimately most successful ICT (and associated services) projects in the UK Government. In order to support their continued growth and climb up the FTSE 100 we are seeking a Bid Director to join the team in shaping major outsourcing deals ranging from £80-400m. This will involve leading a bid team and pulling together virtual teams to develop innovative solutions around customer requirements. The ultimate aim of this position is to successfully manage through the tender process ensuring that the solutions both exceed the customer expectation whilst remaining competitive for the organisation. The role has extensive support from bid, technical and service delivery teams which all contain industry leading expertise. This newly created position has a clearly defined fast track career path through to senior management with significant promotion opportunities in numerous areas of the business.

We are interested in talking to individuals who can previous success as a Bid Manager or Bid Director and a track record of managing the bid process for major outsourcing contracts circa £100m+. Ideally this will be in to Central/Local Government or other areas of the Public Sector however we are also happy to talk to individuals that have worked in other areas of industry such as Financial, Utilities, etc. This role involves much more than simple tender response and so creativity grounded with real world experience is highly desirable.

The role will be based from one of their many offices in the south, ideally London, Berkshire, Hampshire or the South East. Salary range is circa £70-90k (£130-160k OTE) + Car Allowance + Benefits.
